A Dinaric-Mediterranean Macho Touch?Dark hair is an ancestral trait (of little taxonomic value); no population is exclusively blond. A Northwestern European with dark hair does not have "Dinaric or Mediterranean hair"; he is manifesting part of normal Northwestern European variation.
It is no accident that the ideal type of White male beauty in the West never appears in a single racial type but rather as a combination of all three. Historically, the ideal type of an attractive White male has Nordic stature and skull with dark Dinaric or Mediterranean hair. No wonder that White women in the West are attracted to this combination, as embodied by films stars Antonio Banderas, Sean Connery, etc. Seldom is a pure Nordic male specimen viewed among White women as the epitome of male attractiveness. There are jokes in continental and southern Europe about blond-haired White males being “albinos” or “faggots.” Manliness, with a grain of machismo, has traditionally been associated with the Dinaric and Mediterranean subtypes.
The data I'm aware of indicate white women prefer blond hair to black hair in men and the proportion of women favoring men with blond hair is higher than the proportion of men with blond hair [1]. The modal hair color preference of both white men and women is brown (probably not coincidentally the modal hair color of Northwestern Europeans).
Brad Pitt was "chosen by Empire as one of the 25 sexiest stars in film history. In addition, he has twice been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People in 1995 and 2000." See also: Robert Redford, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, etc.
As for why blond men are disproportionately cast as villains, Steve Sailer has written:
Exactly why Hollywood hates blond men almost as much as it loves blond women is not clear. Some have suggested complicated combinations of resentment and longing in regard to WASPs and/or Nordics.I don't think it's complicated or mysterious. It certainly can't be to Tomislav, assuming he possesses the slightest bit of self-awareness.
Relatedly, Tomislav might consider the possibility that jokes about Northern European men by people who look like him are not the best source of objective truth. For the record, Tom, there are jokes in America and northern Europe about southern European males being "greasy" or "faggots" (in addition to serious proposals).
It goes without saying that Northern European men best exemplify manliness as defined by Northern Europeans. Southern European men are typically viewed as lazy, dishonest, cowardly, and effeminate by contrast. I grant that, by southern European standards of manhood, the overwhelming majority of Northern European men are likely deficient in gold chains and body odor.

Well, this certainly clears it all up to the point that it leaves no doubt on how things truly are in the world. (Major eye roll)
ReplyDeleteDude, you produce some good work then shit all over yourself with posts like this. Pity really. I cannot be bothered to refute all your assertions here, but just from experience and logic, I would presume the hot blonds you speak of are hot and sexy because they are macho men. Women like men that look tough. Pitt, Redford, and Craig fit that bill. Law looks like a pussy, if you ask me. That is the reason why women like the "tall, dark, and handsome" guys. Having dark hair, including stubble automatically puts you into the manly and tough category. Blond hair guys have more of an uphill battle as their fair complexions and locks are more feminine. No offense meant to anyone.
Faggotry: a global issue. Thailand is filled with men of northern european lineage looking for their boy toys.
Stink: Same
Gold chains: Touche.
Some wag once said that Americans think Englishmen are gay while the English think Americans are uncouth hicks, and the same relationship holds for English vs Frenchmen and, French vs Belgians. Everyone thinks they themselves are the happy median, kind of like the Prussian racial theorist that said perfection had been achieved by combining German and Polish into the Prussian.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteSunic claimed: "Seldom is a pure Nordic male specimen viewed among White women as the epitome of male attractiveness."
Obviously, this is wrong. Nor did Sunic claim women don't find blond men attractive unless they "look tough" (incidentally, you are of course wrong that women are only attracted to men who "look tough"). About Law (found in 10 seconds using Google):
"He's the most beautiful man who ever walked the earth," says Naomi Watts.
[. . .] Debbie Bancroft, a society columnist for Avenue magazine, who had just celebrated a special occasion. "I went up to him and said, 'You want to give me a little sugar for my birthday?' He leaned in and gave me a soft, sweet kiss on my cheek. I was in heaven." Law's costar Marisa Tomei witnessed the encounter "and arched her eyebrows at me," recalls Bancroft. "I said, 'I'm shameless, aren't I?' and she said yes." Bancroft didn't care: "I walked away covered in goose bumps."
It's all in a day's work for this year's Sexiest Man Alive, who leaves even talk show hosts tongue-tied. Kelly Ripa took a long, lusty look at Law when he appeared on Live recently and sighed, "It's alllll good." Oprah Winfrey demanded, "Just say it, Jude. Say, 'I am dashing.' "
"That is the reason why women like the "tall, dark, and handsome" guys."
Women like tall and handsome men. The "kernel of truth" regarding women liking dark men is that men prefer slightly fairer partners than women; but overall both sexes most often prefer intermediate hair colors. Light eyes are usually most preferred (sometimes more strongly by women than men).
Steve Sailer has credited Mae West (describing a Northern European Cary Grant) with popularizing the phrase "tall, dark, and handsome". Searching Google Books for 1800-1920, I find 186 results for "tall, fair, and handsome" (almost all of the results I looked at referring to males) and 245 results for "tall, dark, and handsome" (many times describing females).
As for the rest of my post, I don't think the point I was making was terribly subtle. TGGP seems to have gotten it.

ReplyDeleteSilly me, I thought it was from Shakespeare's Othello. With regards to that point, there is little to suggest that the character Othello was meant to be a Congoid. Some Negroes are dark and tall, but I've never seen one who could be called handsome.
n/a,
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting about this. That’s why I brought it to your attention, after all. I wanted to get your thoughts on what Sunic said.
The quotation from Sunic is a great example of why I am not a white nationalist. The ethnic differences within the white race are too much for any kind of real pan-European racial nationalism. Non-Northwestern European whites will always take a competitive (and sometimes hostile) stance towards the Northwestern European majority in America.
Also, I find it amusing that Sunic is behaving exactly like the people he hates. As I mentioned in my previous comment, Sunic has been taking a hostile stance towards Northwestern Europeans for quite a while. His intention is to undermine Nordicism because it would exclude people like him. In other words, he’s acting like a Jew.
But regarding Sunic’s statement, I will largely repeat what I said before: Nordics are the epitome of both male and female attractiveness in America and every other country with a Northwestern European majority. Obviously not all Northwestern Europeans are “Nordic” in the strict sense, though a great many are. And they represent the standard of beauty and attractiveness.
“The data I'm aware of indicate white women prefer blond hair to black hair in men and the proportion of women favoring men with blond hair is higher than the proportion of men with blond hair [1]. The modal hair color preference of both white men and women is brown (probably not coincidentally the modal hair color of Northwestern Europeans).”
Could you post some data from this study, n/a?
Also, as to the question of why blond men are disproportionately cast as villains, were you implying that Jewish influence in Hollywood is the reason? If so, I’ve always thought so too.

But it’s not just hair color, right? Isn’t it true that women prefer lighter-skinned men? I know that hair color and skin color usually go hand in hand; I just want to be specific.
Black women and Asian whomen who are interested in white men like blond hair. Nearly every other category of women prefers darker hair. Everyone knows this is true (generally). Stop being silly.
ReplyDeleteThanks to the comment about Othello, I found that even in Shakespeare's day black Africans were known for poor reasoning, impulse control and hyper-sexuality. This is before colonialism can be blamed for Africa's troubles.
ReplyDeleteThe same bitter resentment towards Northern Europeans, this time coming from a Croat; a Croatian Dienekes. It’s a new take on an old favorite and it’s just in time for Christmas! What will they think of next?
ReplyDeleten/a,
ReplyDeleteWith little time, I'll address some points.
Sunic claimed: "Seldom is a pure Nordic male specimen viewed among White women as the epitome of male attractiveness."
I believe this to be true. As a matter of fact, you have not disproven it. Unless you want to make the claim that all Nordic males are of the Cary Grant, Brad Pitt, Robert Redford variety, which I do not think you are. You have only shown that women go nuts over the top 0.1% of Nordic males. That could be said for pretty much all races, including Negroid.
Nor did Sunic claim women don't find blond men attractive unless they "look tough" (incidentally, you are of course wrong that women are only attracted to men who "look tough").
I'm not here defending Sunic, as I think his article was just as stupid as your defense of male Nordic attractiveness. Nor do I think he is the final say in such matters. Also, I did not make the claim that women ONLY liked men who looked tough. That is your misreading. Though that is the general rule. Otherwise, why, as you constantly claim, do women like tall men? Because of reasons that include implied toughness, strength.
Law still looks like a pussy, though some women find his "perfect" features to be, as you show in your quotes, "beautiful". Not rugged, handsome, studly, but beautiful. Kinda like a faggy sort of way and we know women love fags.
Women like tall and handsome men. The "kernel of truth" regarding women liking dark men is that men prefer slightly fairer partners than women; but overall both sexes most often prefer intermediate hair colors. Light eyes are usually most preferred (sometimes more strongly by women than men).
I'm not sure about all of this, one way or another. I can agree that men like lighter women, hence the reason why it appears so strange when white men date black women. I also agree that women love light colored eyes, though I find this to be the case when the male has dark hair due to the rarity of it and not necessarily as a general rule.
Tom's jealousy shows again. I do believe he is for the survival and advancement of the entire White race, but I also believe he can't get past his petty jealousies, so he has to try and get a dig in when he can. As a teen, he probably had to put up some girl he pined for, longed for daily, ignoring him and chasing after some tall, blonde or light brown haired specimen. In other words, a guy like me, 6'3", blonde up 'til I was 24 (my hair has been light brown ever since) blue-eyed and muscular. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm going to toot my own horn. Then again, maybe Tom is merely scared shitless of that faggy blonde guy Fedor who's been clobbering everyone on earth in MMA battles.

ReplyDelete"Could you post some data from this study, n/a?"
ReplyDeleteFor hair color, 47% of female "likes" were registered for brown hair (vs. 41% of male "likes"); 28% for blond hair (38% for males); 23% for black hair (14% for males); 2% for red hair (7% for males). More female "dislkes" were registered for black hair than blond hair (5% vs. 2%).
For eye color, in this study (in which light blue and dark blue are split) the breakdown for female "likes" is:
Light blue 20%
Hazel 15%
Dark blue 28%
Brown 34%
Black 3%
"Isn’t it true that women prefer lighter-skinned men?"
The complexion "likes" numbers from this study for males and females:
Black 1% 2%
Brown 2% 4%
Red brown 4% 5%
Dark white 23% 27%
Medium white which tans to gold 51% 42%
Medium white which tands to red-brown 13% 15%
Very light which freckles 3% 3%
Very light which does not freckle 3% 2%
I imagine most of the participants (1970s Wyoming college students) interpreted "Medium white" to mean the northern European average and "Dark white" to mean the color of slightly tanned northern European skin.
I'm also aware research showing people perceive ruddy faces as healthier and think lighter skin is more attractive:
Attractiveness Based Partly on Skin Color

When it comes to an attractive face, color can make all the difference, suggests a new study.
The research focused on facial skin color among Caucasians, finding a light, yellowish complexion looks the healthiest. [. . .] Stephen and his colleagues asked 54 Caucasian participants to change the skin color of about 50 male and female faces on a computer screen to make them look as healthy as possible. Hands down, the participants tended to increase the rosiness, yellowness and brightness of the skin.
"were you implying that Jewish influence in Hollywood is the reason?"
Correct.
Great post n/a.
ReplyDeleteI like Tom, but I think he's way off the mark on this one.
The Dinaric is related to the Armenoid(Jew), so I don't see why we should be so proud of that.
Northern Europeans are on average larger than Southern Europeans. Height, size and large muscles have a greater perception of masculinity than hair color.
One could hardly call the UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, feminine.
I've known women to prefer blond or brown-haired males, but never heard of one preferring redheaded males. I think the male reds have it the worst.
Jason Armitage,
ReplyDeleteThe quotation from Sunic is a great example of why I am not a white nationalist.
"White nationalism" would be fine if "white" were restricted to the group it historically described. As it is, it's too easy for people who should have no business with WN to encroach. On the positive side, they tend to be more outspoken, so you may as well ride any propaganda wave they generate; if things ever do get a move on, most will realize what's up and slink away on their own without having to be shown the door.
Anon#1,
Are you "the sangha"? n/a is very insightful and that makes him worth reading. But he's also a callous elitist, and this bias occasionally slips through in ways that make his positions unattractive; you shouldn't concern yourself with these subjective opinions. Defending Law's manliness? Geez, if Law epitomizes northern manhood then let's just say they don't quite make 'em like they used to.
Jason Armitage again,
But regarding Sunic’s statement, I will largely repeat what I said before: Nordics are the epitome of both male and female attractiveness in America and every other country with a Northwestern European majority.
Why is that a point that bears repeating? You're only stalling yourselves by your inability to overcome this fixation. "Nordicity" exists in gradations. It hardly seems much of a recruiting tactic to hold that its highest point represents some sort of "ideal" which 95% of the population can do no other than fall short of -- who'd wish for a society composed of people who feel compelled to pinch their lapels, point their noses in the air and exclaim, "I don't know what this piece of shit is, but I'm a [fill in]."
As for Sunic, I don't recall reading one illuminating idea in his writings. All he does is regurgitate racial common sense from the 30s; any high schooler with an interest race could do that, and in better English, too.
Brad Pitt was "chosen by Empire as one of the 25 sexiest stars in film history. In addition, he has twice been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People in 1995 and 2000." See also: Robert Redford, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, etc.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, white women prefer a tall, masculine Nordish male as a mate.
From my experiences white women have a special affection and adoration for blond children.
